RT Camera Is In The House
You may remember a few weeks back we were asking RT readers to help us out as we raised money to buy a decent camera for RT. Over 20 people stepped up, donating anywhere from $2 to $50, which was very gratifying and humbling, and together with what the RT team has contributed, it put us over the top. It took a while, given the economic climate, but the good news is it took so long we were actually able to upgrade and get a better camera model for a slightly lower price!
A big fat shout out to Rowe Photo. We believe in buying locally whenever possible, and Rowe worked with us on price to make it happen. A win-win, there.
Anyway, now we’re really on the hook to provide good reporting, analysis, and anything else in between that helps the progressive movement here in our corner of NY state.
So, the camera’s finally here, and we gave it a test run yesterday while we had a chat with Dave Garretson (we’ll post on that soon). It works great, and it’s really compact. Check it out:

It is an SD camera. HD was too rich for us at this point. someday -
