Robach’s empty seat

This is cute — a picture from last night’s community forum on Monroe County schools. Dollinger showed up. Robach didn’t. Here’s what a former Greece school board member had to say (from a press release):

Joining Rick Dollinger was Joe Moscato, former Greece School Board Member, who expressed relief that these issues were finally being addressed, but also frustration with the failure of leadership in Albany to recognize the issues being faced by the Monroe County schools district.

“We are elated that Rick Dollinger is addressing the growing concerns we have as a community about our children and their future,” said Moscato. “One of our greatest responsibilities as a community is to ensure that our children are provided with a safe and nurturing environment in which they can learn and grow. And, it has been increasingly disconcerting to see the blatant disregard demonstrated by our Albany leadership toward the state of education here in Monroe County.”

Given the lack of debate in Albany, Robach owes its constituents a debate or two back at home.

As a constituent of Robach’s, he owes it to the people he “represents” to show up and debate. But then again, that’s not Robach’s style. He prefers to work in the shadows and keep us in the dark on where he really stands on the issues. Geez, this guy wouldn’t even debate Willa Powell two-years ago. Heart of a lion…

Joe was busy getting us $490,000 of our money back.

Which raises the question, where was to begin with Joe?

I heard he gets a bad rash when he’s within 20 feet of Rick Dollinger. Don’t they have a cream for that?
