The Tea Party movement is not racist, not redneck, and not violent. If you don’t love the constitution as much as we do, too bad. Shut up and keep out of our way. A few scenes from the Tea Party rally two weeks ago in Searchlight Nevada:

Meanwhile, some tea baggers envision a militia to ward off ” Washington intrusion,” and the idea has support from some Oklahoma legislators. Via USA Today:
Fed up with what they see as Washington’s intrusion into their state, Oklahoma “tea party” leaders and some conservative legislators want to create a volunteer militia to defend against the federal government, the Associated Press writes.
“Is it scary? It sure is,” said Al Gerhart, a tea party activist who heads the Oklahoma Constitutional Alliance. “But when do the states stop rolling over for the federal government?”
State Rep. Charles Key, a Republican representing Oklahoma City, said he believes there’s a good chance that legislation could be introduced next year to authorize a militia.
A tea party leader in Tulsa, J.W. Berry, has been soliciting interest through his newsletter, urging that readers “buy more guns, more bullets.”
The nationwide Tea Party Express, which began with a splash in Nevada, made its way across the nation and rolled through Western NY on four flat tires. Here are scenes from the modestly attended stop Monday in Syracuse. The singing you hear in the background is Victoria Jackson, who we featured recently. During the Buffalo stop, Jackson spoke out against Louise Slaughter, but wasn’t sure if the Congresswoman is named Maurice or Marie.
It’s time for you God-hating liberals to wake up and realize what we need to do. Let’s deport all the Muslims, unless they are willing to convert to Christianity and thereby become good Americans. Unfortunately, none of our usual tongue-in-cheek exaggeration was applied to the above lead-in. From American Family Association’s Bryan Fischer:
I suggested we immediately stop Muslim immigration into the United States and offer to repatriate Muslim immigrants to Muslim countries which share their values…
Bottom line: every Muslim who enters the United States carries within his bosom the seeds of sedition. It is dangerously foolish for the United States to invite folks inside our borders whose god orders them, through his holy prophet, to murder American infidels. According to the latest Easter polling data, infidels comprise about 80 percent of our population, the 80 percent who believe that Jesus is the Son of God, came to earth to die for our sins, and rose from the grave. Each of these beliefs is regarded in Islam as a heresy which ultimately merits the death penalty.
And if the government won’t impose this death penalty on the infidels, the Muslims themselves will be happy to impose it on their own initiative, as 9/11 and Fort Hood amply illustrate…
Those who are willing to convert to Christianity and renounce Islam, Allah, Mohammed and the Koran may be welcomed, for they can become not just good Christians but true Americans.
First Reagan Rule of Politics: Speak no ill of a fellow Republican. Unless he is crazy and challenging your Senate seat in a primary. Presented for your amusement, this video put-down of challenger JD Hayworth from the John McCain campaign:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I’ve said it before, so I WON’T say it again.
What a truly bigoted thing to suggest — that ALL muslims are un-American. I would suggest that his ignorance and intolerance makes him un-American.
How come there’s no video from Searchlight of SEIU Members and Harry Reid Supporters egging the buses of people heading to the rally posted here? Aren’t they wing-nutty enough or is that typical behavior for those you disagree with, thus not post-worthy?
Who drew the short straw and got stuck having to infiltrate the rally downtown tomorrow?
Probably because all of the racists and hate-mongers grabbed the spotlight — after all, they’re arming themselves with much more than just eggs… http://www.jeffhead.com/912teaparty/912-TeaParty-DC-12.jpg
