Another Chance for Health Care Activism

Here’s another opportunity to have your voice heard in regards to health care reform before the senate bill is complete.  I heard Tom Daschle speak on NPR today.  the way I interpreted what he said was that he has no problem compromising away the public option, as impotent as it is, to get this bill passed.  Daschle has been “deputized” by President Obama to help move this bill through the senate.

Canines? This plan doesn’t even have an upper set of molars!

Why doesn’t the congress just bulk-mail, or even email a letter to the voters:

Dear Contituents,

Thank you for your input, but really, we don’t care what you want, or need.  Our concern lies only with what is in the best interest of our benefactors- the health insurance industry and big pharma.  It’s been entertaining to read your petitions and watch your videos, but in the end it’s all about getting re-elected.

Sincerely,

Your senators and congressmen (except for Kucinich and Massa)

Don’t let them get away with it.
