Wednesday Wingnut Watch

.

I don’t know about you, but Satan really ticks me off. It especially bugs me when Satan comes disguised as James Dobson, Mother Theresa, the Pope, country music, or a Bible other than the King James version.  Hey, let’s have a book burning! Yes, the Amazing Grace Baptist Church of Canton NC decided to have a book burning.

Come to our Halloween book burning. We are burning Satan’s bibles like the NIV, RSV, NKJV, TLB, NASB, NEV, NRSV, ASV, NWT, Good News for Modern Man, The Evidence Bible, The Message Bible, The Green Bible, ect. These are perversions of God’s Word the King James Bible.

We will also be burning Satan’s music such as country, rap, rock, pop, heavy metal, western, soft and easy, southern gospel, contempory [sic] Christian,  jazz,  soul,  oldies but goldies, etc.

We will also be burning Satan’s popular books written by heretics like Westcott & Hort, Bruce Metzger, Billy Graham, Rick Warren, Bill Hybels, John McArthur, James Dobson, Charles Swindoll , John Piper, Chuck Colson, Tony Evans, Oral Roberts, Jimmy Swagart, Mark Driskol, Franklin Graham, Bill Bright, Tim Lahaye, Paula White, T.D. Jakes, Benny Hinn , Joyce Myers, Brian McLaren, Robert Schuller, Mother Teresa , The Pope , Rob Bell, Erwin McManus, Donald Miller, Shane Claiborne, Brennan Manning, William Young, etc.

Oops, then things went wrong. The protesters. The rain. And that local law against burning paper. The church moved the book-burning inside, to a kitchen-sized waste basket.

Gawl dang it, I’m tired of that sumbitch Lindsey Graham paradin’ around pretendin’ to be a conservative Republican. Let’s get him. And so it came to pass that the Charleston County  Republican Party’s executive committee voted to censure Senator Graham for being insufficiently conservative. By the way, Graham is rated the 15th most conservative senator by National Review.

County Chairwoman Lin Bennett said the unanimous vote “is an effort to get his attention. They (party leaders) are just fed up, and they want him to know they’re fed up.”

The resolution mentions Graham’s cooperation with U.S. Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., on a bipartisan energy bill, and his support for the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program and the time he called some opponents of immigration reform “bigots.”

“U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham — in the name of bipartisanship — continues to weaken the Republican brand and tarnish the ideals of freedom, rule of law, and fiscal conservatism,” the resolution reads.

Bennett said the resolution passed unanimously by a voice vote among about 50 of the party’s 104 executive committee members.

Aren’t you tired of our peace-prize-winning wimp of a president being subservient to leaders of other countries? Me too! It is totally unprecedented and innapropriate.  The Fox & Friends bunch weights in on President Obama bowing the the Emperor of Japan:

Yup, totally unprecedented. Unless you count this guy:

nixon-bowed
nixon-bowed

Or this guy:

ike-bowed
ike-bowed
