Breaking, Senate Finance Committee is owned by Health Insurance Companies
Well, that’s not really breaking news, is it? But this is:
By a 15-8 vote, the Senate Finance Committee just made sure the so-called public option will not be part of its version of legislation to overhaul the nation’s health care system.
My husband was listening to this on the radio. He heard Schumer’s response. Apparently Chuck is pissed!

Shame on the members of this committee.
Do the democrats want our support?
Which Dems would you be speaking of? Would that be the Blue Dick Democrats? (Oh, sorry, I meant to say Blue Dog Democrats, didn’t I?) They don’t need us. They are apparently well financed and F*** the American people, especially, the liberals. Anyway, that’s how I see it.
So, now that they’ve broken another promise, are you ready to go Green?
the democratic leadership has to be accountable to those who elected the party to national power . We have a two party system not a red dog blue dog system.
Parsing the issue does nothing to change it. It is perfectly fair to ask if the party is passing progressive legislation
Things could change but Obama has not delivered on any progressive promises and has given the farm to big industries. Until he delivers he will not get may support nor will I support the party.
I couldn’t agree more violently!
…and what rhymes with Green?
Dean?
