More questions for Massa - the deficit is Clintons’ fault. What about States’ rights…

Here you go - more questions from real people.

This clip - the speaker’s view point is that it’s Clinton’s fault.  The deficit is huge, and wants Massa to work with Sen Ron Wyden (D-OR).   (FYI Wyden wants  to set up a system of Health Care exchanges).   About that deficit -I suppose we conveniently forgot the two off budget wars…

In the next question you have to listen to the ignorance.  A little research would should that Massa has refused current Congressional Health Care.  Listen to Massa handle the crowd as they shout.  The rest of the question is about states rights.   That whole preamble thing “…provide for the general welfare.”

I wonder if the speaker know about the famed Kucinich amendment.  The one that allow states to opt out of the federal program and set up a single payer system of their own.  I wonder if this guy would support that?

saying this guy is ignorant only displays your own. First, perhaps you should do some research to know that Massa didn’t accept the congressional health benefits because he is a navy veteran. he and his family were already covered. I n addition, because he is a member of Congress, when he need health care while in DC, he does not go to the crappy part of the VA hospital fo rthe regular folk. He gets to go to a special elite wing designed for members of congress.

2nd, the preamble to the Constitution was obviously written prior to the the 10th ammendment. Therefore, it looks as if the 10th ammendment trumps a “general welfare” statement in the preamble. It was designed to reign in people like Massa who use it to put forth anything they choose under the guise that it is for “the general welfare”.

Seems to me that this guy is dead on and you my friends represent the “ignorant”.

Ah another mind reader. Demeaning Massa’s service are we and the nation’s debt paid to retired veterans? There is an elite wing of the VA hospital?

Look, Massa is on record of saying that he wants for all Americans is what Congress has for itself - and you are questioning/attacking this?

Looking for ignorance? - look in the mirror

Re the Constitution - I’ll leave that for others but I don’t recall the 10th Amendment saying the preamble piece no longer applies. Designed to rein in people like Massa. Funny that.
