My children, let us pray. We pray to give thanks for our blessings. We pray for peace on Earth. We pray that God will smite Barack Obama dead. A recent interview with Wiley Drake… a man of God, the former VP running mate of Alan Keyes, and, yes… certified wingnut.
Pastor Wiley isn’t new to the pray-for-politics game. Last year he prayed for rain… he prayed it would pour during Barack Obama’s acceptance speech.
Finally, that well-reasoned argument you’ve been waiting for to explain why Sarah Palin is so wonderful and Barack Obama is so evil.
“Honorary Wingnut of the Year” contender Martin Eisenstadt, Senior Fellow at the Harding Institute, says you should absolutely believe everything you read on blogs. If you are willing to believe that Martin Eisenstadt and the Harding Institute really exist, that’s a good start. Some contend that the self-proclaimed pundit, widely credited with the “Africa is a country” Sarah Palin leak, is an elaborate hoax. Here is Mr. Eisenstadt’s response:

An appreciative pat on the lonsberries, two weeks in a row. Bob Lonsberry, whose breezes usually blow in the FUBO direction, gets our kudos once again. Or maybe, for a change, it is WE who find ourselves on HIS side… at least when it comes to his description of N.Y. Senator Pedro Espada:
“Espada” is the Spanish word for “whore.”
That’s the lesson New York takes away from the five-week odyssey its state Senate has been on.
When all was said and done, it was about bribing Pedro Espada, an otherwise inconsequential political hack and “community organizer” from the Bronx. Mostly known for representing the Bronx while living in a $700,000 home in Westchester, and using his non-profit as a political cash cow, Pedro Espada is now living proof that, in fact, crime does pay.
In less than a month, he has been both the Republican president of the Senate and the Democratic majority leader of the Senate, and he got each job by selling out the other. He is the basest, vilest, most blatant political whore in modern times.
