Wrecking ball about to swing towards Maggie’s RenSquare vision?
Apparently the Mayor and City Council reached agreement on how to proceed on RenSquare. Now is is a matter of moving forward and engaging the backers of RenSquare like Maggie Brooks and Main and Clinton LDC.

The mayor and all council members met during a closed session this morning and came to an agreement about the project, he said.
The agreement won’t break deadlines or risk federal funding, Duffy said, though he would not reveal details of the plan until it can be presented to the project’s biggest boosters, County Executive Maggie Brooks and Rochester-Genesee Regional Transportation Authority CEO Mark Aesch in an open meeting Wednesday.
I wonder if this is a bad sign for Maggie and RenSquare.
Duffy derided the efforts of the Main and Clinton Local Development Corp. to lobby the council to approve the project.
“That strategy has failed miserably,” he said.
I suppose more to come.
