Another Greece Cop suspended

A veteran Greece police sergeant has been suspended, bringing to four the number of suspensions in the troubled department.

Sgt. Robert Trowbridge was suspended with pay on Monday for disciplinary reasons, Greece town spokeswoman Kathryn Firkins said this morning.

Citing the strict confidentiality of police personnel matters, she declined to specify the reasons for Trowbridge’s suspension.

Trowbridge has worked for the department for 23 years. His base pay is $82,000.
