Wednesday Wingnut Watch

We are lucky to have Rush. He can look at the facts and see  The Truth which nobody else can see. He can look at a 5-4 Supreme Court decision and see that it is really 9-0. He can clearly see the court’s message on racism which others, who rely soly on what is written and said, cannot see.

He can see that pop star Michael Jackson’s life and death is a reflection of Ronald Reagan’s success and Barack Obmama’s failure.

As the world shakes its head and tries to make sense from Sarah Palin’s decision to bail out before finishing her first term as Governor, her core supporters are ready to follow her… to someplace. Sarah lovers at conservatives4palin.com are emoting all over themselves this week. This post entitled Sharpen Those Sabres - The Day Has Come seems to sum up the sentiments at the site.

Like de Gaulle in 1940 Sarah Palin sees her own beloved country heading for desperate and dangerous times. She herself is surrounded by enemies from all sides who seek to break her spirit. But her message is clearly one of defiance.

She has ridden out alone from the citadel and stands on the crest of a hill that looks down towards the unknown. She has unfurled her banner and waits to see who will join her.

Sharpen those sabres - the day has come…..

Yes, it’s Lonsberry’s week to make sense again. He loves Sarah Palin, but now thinks she is acting like a flake. Seriously, no exageration. This column is entitled SARAH PALIN IS A FLAKE AND A QUITTER.

Who is going to vote for a candidate who barely filled half of a gubernatorial term? When a candidate runs for office, there is an implied pledge that if you vote for them they are actually going to serve. Anyone who walks away from office for no good reason, with almost half of the job left to do, is not a free spirit, that person is a quitter.

And when that decision and that announcement are made rashly and without explanation, your temperament certainly doesn’t look presidential.

WOW!! I don’t usually listen to Rush, but I must bow to his clarity and logic. Of course everything good in the world is due to Ronald Reagan.

I must have missed all that greatness being distracted by union busting, closet racism, huge federal deficits for no apparent purpose while gutting valuable social programs, Iran Contra scandals, environmental ignorance and other minor issues,
