We are finished with themes for a while, but I am tempted to call this one “The Name Calling Edition.”
Single payer health care? Let the smears and scare tactics begin. For starters, you must be a Nazi if you want the government to pay your medical bills. Yes, more Nazi talk! We heard it last week from local wingnut Bob Lonsberry on fuel efficient cars. This time, a death camp survivor is cited by conservative columnist Star Parker, on the topic of health care. Her column with this:

Wow, so what point did the death camp survivor make about Nazis and government medical care? Uh, no. From there, the column goes on to talk about ”individual responsibility” and health care. Funny thing. When you kick off with “death camp survivor” and “health care system” my mind goes to death camp angel-of-death doctors such as Josef Mengele. Coincidence?
Then there are scary videos such as this one, now posted on the N.Y. Conservative Party website. As you view it, keep in mind that Canada pays less for better outcomes (as a country) with its health care dollars, compared to the U.S.
