Merritt Rahn’s stolen gun
Well, more about Greece this time the D&C has an article following up on the suspended Greece Police’s stolen weapon.
When a task force of local police stumbled on a .40-caliber pistol during a raid on a Rochester drug house in the fall of 2000, one investigator surprised the others with his knowledge of the firearm.
The investigator said he was sure the pistol had once belonged to Greece Police Chief Merritt Rahn, whose gun was stolen in late 1999. That evening investigators checked the serial number of the gun, which indeed had been Rahn’s department-issued firearm.
Now, almost a decade later, authorities are again interested in the case of the chief’s stolen gun. At issue is whether Rahn created a fake report about the circumstances of the gun’s theft — an allegation Rahn denied last week through his attorney John Parrinello.
A good read to be sure.

Jeff McCann and Jack Auberger should be running scared. When they bring Rahn down, he will bring them down too. I wonder how many other Greece hack politicians will fall because of this or other scandals. I bet they are all dirty.
