Things getting out of hand for two NY politicians

Two N.Y. politicians received personal threats of the ugliest kind.

Andrew Cuomo received an Ayatollah-style death threat.

The Post reported that a suspected agent of the North American Man/Boy Love Association, or NAMBLA, was responsible for the posting - possibly in response to Cuomo’s aggressive use of a new “civil commitment” law to keep convicted child molesters behind bars.

The Internet threat read, “$10,000 to shoot Andrew Cuomo in the face!”

In Putnam County, Republican Assemblyman Greg Ball came home to find a dead goat in his driveway.

The hand-written note accompanying the goat’s corpse appeared to refer to Ball as “a [expletive] American” - possibly suggesting the author was opposed to the legislator’s tough stance on illegal immigrants.

But Ball said he doubts MS-13 was actually behind the threat because the Spanish in the note was misspelled.

Instead, the retired Air Force officer, who has taken on the Danbury mob and a local political dynasty, said he suspected enemies closer to home - possibly someone who knew he used to raise goats.

We must be vigilant and speak out against thug behavior whenever it happens. It doesn’t matter if the target is on “our side” or not, when it comes to civility and order, we should all be on the same side. Remember this nasty thing in November?
