Wednesday Wingnut Watch
Let’s not call it “Stimulus,” because it’s so fulla pork. Yeah, let’s call it P… P… “Porkulus!” Yup, that’s the clever name wingnuts are using to describe the stimulus package. Rush Limbaugh. Michele Malkin. And let’s not forget some of the cleverest wingnut nit-picking (new term: wingnittery?): Protest over stimulus money to save an endangered mouse in Nancy Pelosi’s home district… except, oops, it isn’t true. Protest over stimulus money to fund a Disneyland-to-Vegas Strip high speed train in Harry Reid’s home district, except, oops, that isn’t true either. This is just a sampling, there is plenty more Porkulus nonsense where this stuff came from.
