Massa hits the ground running
From today’s press release:
ROCHESTER, NY- As part of his commitment to get to work before even being sworn-in, today Congressman-Elect Eric Massa visited Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks to discuss the critical infrastructure requirements of Monroe County.
“President-elect Obama, in the model of Franklin Roosevelt, has committed to rebuild this Nation and put millions of Americans back to work. Our job is to focus on Western New York State, including right here in Monroe County.”
This visit, coming on the heels of meetings with Chambers of Commerce and Industrial Development authorities in Cattaraugus, Steuben, and other Southern Tier Counties, is a continuation of Congressman-Elect Massa’s commitment to hit the ground running.
“Clearly there’s no time for introductions or to take a break, I have to be ready on day one. I look forward to working with County Executive Maggie Brooks, and all of the leaders throughout the district, to help strengthen Western New York’s economy in the years to come,” said Congressman-Elect Eric Massa.
I don’t think Eric is going to waste any time getting things accomplished and following through on campaign promises. It will be nice to have a congressman who actually wants to serve the communities he represents and has ideas of his own on how best to do that.
