More on Senator Diaz - gang of 1/3 -

Damn.

I was looking for something else in our archives and came across this stunning post from July 2008 by Airbare. Senator Diaz is on of the Dem Senators threatening to withhold support from Malcolm Smith - thus in theory - really not flipping the Senate. Read the whole thing here. The summary below does not do the post justice. Further evidence why Airbare is simply the best.

I’m still shaking my head.

  • Diaz tries to run on the Republican Line
  • Compares Stem cell research to Nazi Science Experiments
  • Said he doesn’t know if he would support Malcolm Smith as Majority Leader.

So this guy’s positions really isn’t news now is it. It has been public since July.
