MC-Clerk: Hasman asks the Clerk Why She Waited So Long
A News8 article interviewing Dinolfo in 2006 indicated that she knew the Social Security Numbers were on the county website. Tom Hasman asks the Clerk why she knew about the SSNs on the website for at least a year before starting to do anything about it.
As a bonus question, he asks why she re-invented the wheel, wasting taxpayer money developing software in the Clerk’s office rather than buying an industry standard software package, or at least checked to see what Suffolk county did, since they discovered SSNs on their website in 2006, and immediately took care of it.
Check out the Clerk’s non-answer. How do you folks read her body language? Is she super-pissed?
My wife was doing something else within earshot of this, and when she heard the Clerk spout the non-answer, she turned to me, all fired up, and said “Oh my god! Who is that? That’s the kind of answer you expect from someone who tries to avoid the question by talking all high and mighty!”
