Schumer stops by
Senator Charles Schumer made his way across western New York Thursday stumping for local Democrats. He stopped at St. John’s Meadows in Brighton to throw support behind Eric Massa, a congressional candidate in the 29th District.

“Now Medicare, people want to cut it. Certain candidates want to cut it to balance the budget. That would be breaking faith with senior citizens,” Schumer said.
Got that? Breaking faith. It is more that breaking faith with Seniors it is breaking faith with all members of our society as the GOP attempts to remove societal safety nets.
What was interesting about this event from my perspective was the connection Eric Massa made with the seniors in the audience. It was simply amazing to watch. Frankly, I’m at a loss for words. Eric Massa gets it.
