More on DCCC expenditures - Hey Christmas is coming too…
This just in from Swing State - independent expenditures for NY Congressional races. The first number is last week’s expenditures, the second is total. These chart doesn’t seem to factor in HCAN ads or the Patriot Majority Ads that have appeared in the NY-29th but they do highlight the DCCC ads and since I’m only talking about the DCCC well….

So remember $2.7 million dollars for three races. Thus far
- <10K for Massa
- Over 550K for Kryzan
- 150K for Maffei (if memory serves)
What is the DCCC waiting for?
Typical strategy of both campaign committees is to pledge more than they can actually spend. It keeps the opposition guessing and from planning a counter attack with certainty.
There a difference between having enough money to put 50 to 75 seats in play (the DCCC) and the NRCC who, how can I put this kindly, doesn’t.
There is also a difference between 150K, 550K and 8K.
