Response to the Flipper Ad
Elizabeth Benjamin, of the New York Daily News comments on Massa’s new ad:
You knew this was coming…Democrat Eric Massa, who is making his second attempt at ousting Republican Rep. Randy Kuhl in the 29th CD, has released a new TV ad that brands Kuhl a “flipper” for changing his vote on the $700 billion bailout bill.
(Listen for that telltale dolphin laugh at the end).
Of the four members of New York’s congressional delegation who voted “no” on the first bill, Kuhl was the only one to switch to the “yes” column the second time around.
What she doesn’t mention is what Randy was up to between his, “No” vote and his, “Yes” vote. (faster than lightening. No one at sea is smarter than he.)
