A bunch of us are heading out to various events this evening -so don’t know when we will be back but meanwhile - over at Openleft
Stoller over at Openleft is following the media coverage. This is important because McCain has already declared himself the winner. Bowers is live blogging the Debate.
Yeah, I know the debate is about Foreign Policy. As least it is suppose to be about the Foreign Policy but don’t be surprised if they tangle on the Economy. In fact, Don’t be surprised if John McCain unveils his everyman bail out plan. it’s on video.

Candidates have been doing that for years. If you listend to them every candidate did better than every other candidate in every debate in every way possible.
Don’t think for a second Obama doesn’t have his ads and spokespeople ready to go with talking points in hand.
“Well Ted tonight Obama clearly showed the American people that he is not only ready to lead but by his answers he proved himself more capable of understanding what America really needs to face the challenges of the future. We are very pleased with his performance. He was obviously the winner in tonight’s debate.”
