Sarah Palin wouldn’t know how to speak for me - Pics from Sunday’s event

a larger than expected crowd

I received these pictures from a faithful reader (you know who you are-thanks much!) of the Anti-Sarah Palin event. According to this same reader, there were somewhere between 250-300 people there. The organizer was hoping to get 100! Apparently, even on a cold, grey day, the women of the greater Rochester area want their opinions to be seen and heard. Wish I had been there.

I am so insulted by McCain’s VP choice, I can’t begin to tell you. Looks like these women were feeling the same. To think he could woo the Hillary supporters over to his side by choosing an incompetent 1.5 year Alaskan Governor who can see Russia from her house is just pure idiocy and speaks to the senator’s disregard for the American people and disrespect for the intelligence of the American woman.

Looks like Anchorage had their own “little” protest last week:

“We’re not alone. A lot of people are worried about the nomination of Sarah Palin,” Doroff said as cars drove by, drivers honking their horns in support.

Barbara Norton, a 56-year-old midwife, stood near a sign that read, “Alaskan Women for Choice.”

“I think America does not understand how absolutely extreme her positions are - even to the right of George Bush and John McCain,” Norton said. “She is frightening.”
