Apparently Kuhl is not ready to debate Eric Massa

Guess who just blew off the scheduled debate in Elmira?

WETM-TV and the Leader newspaper have asked Congressman Randy Kuhl (R) to reconsider his decision not to debate his opponent Eric Massa (D) in October.

See, Randy Kuhl doesn’t want an audience.

WETM-TV offered to give 100 seats to each campaign so they could make sure their candidate was well represented. The remaining 250 seats would be open to the public.

So, no town hall meetings, no audiences all ad up to no debates.

Ridiculous.

What exactly is Randy afraid off?

Might want to go back and read this post. It was written in August right after Massa publicly asked Kuhl to debate. As Elmer said - it would be political suicide not to show. Here is hoping the Leader and WETM stick to the format they want.
