Where are the Dollinger Signs?
I was speaking with some folks last night and they were marveling at all the Robach signs. There is no Dollinger sign presence.
Are there Dollinger signs and how does one get them?
I hopped over to the Dollinger Campaign Website for additional information and that seems to be a bit scarce with content. I mean, the last news release was May 9th. Yes, May 9th. Um, I seem to recall a bunch of forums. The Campaign taped them. I recall Campaign Commercials and endorsements.
So how exactly is the Dollinger Campaign going?
- Where are the signs?
Re the Website
- Where is the press, the content, the Dollinger comments?
- The LIST OF EVENTS that Rick goes to or is planning on attending.
If I know anything, it is that Joe Robach is a formidable opponent and defeating him will require more hustle and focus than I’ve seen thus far.

I don’t understand the Dollinger campaign…
Exactly what is he waiting for?
His TV ad was weak at best, and perhaps even counterproductive. We see no bumper stickers, no lawn signs, not much of anything.
Meanwhile, Joe Robot is successfully painting himself as the friend of local schools [who he shortchanged on aid] , women [whose rights he wants to infringe upon], gays [whose equal rights he works against] and labor [whose interests he works against].
Having “debates” where Robot no-shows is nice for preaching to the choir, but where’s the push here?
I hope he’s not counting on riding on the anti-republican bandwagon in Monroe County.
That ain’t gonna happen.
I didn’t think signs could go up yet. I know a lot of Democrats who support Robach. Republicans aren’t the problem.
There are various rules but in Brighton where I saw the Robach signs- you can put then in after labor day. 3 signs per lawn.
Democratic Brighton is not to be taken for granted.
Great summary.
We need to take nothing for granted.
About the Web site;. I thought it funny that the Dollinger Campaign Website linked to a Press Release that THEY published which is repreinted on a blog.
Is there an on line historical record somewhere of Dollinger Press releases?
Could someone ask Exile to e-mail me or if he’s reading this, can you get in touch with me? I don’t know how else to get a hold of him so I had to go this route.
My e-mail address is petrenahayes@aol.com
Thanks!
“Republicans aren’t the problem”
Exacto mundo…
Dems are always whining about the tactics of the republicans as if blaming the other team for having a better strategy will somehow win the game.
Where’s the press? It’s not their job to create news, if there’s not enough press about Dollinger then whose fault is that?
OOOOO…
The white princess enters the dragon’s lair….
Not only do I want Robach out, I also want Dollinger in.
But from what I’m seeing, this is just another Kerry campaign.
Everything tells us Dollinger should win, but if he doesn’t get a burr under his saddle soon he’ll just be another dem snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
shhhhhhhhhh! They’ll swat you!
Come on in, it may seem dark and scary compared to the enchanted kingdom you inhabit where everything on the surface is white, bright and right, but we’ll protect you.
No, no, don’t let the fact that there are no simple answers to complex problems here frighten you. None of the riff-raff you fear will actually touch you.
Why one of your man servants, a troll known as Elmer comes here often.
Although he babbles and is confused by the truth he is allowed to wander about unharmed.
So come in and seek the light…
[...] Debates! Robach agrees to debates. Agreement without details is called running out the clock but it is a step in the right direction I suppose. Robach send out a questionable mailer. We wonder aloud where is Rock Dollinger. [...]
That’s a little harsh. I don’t consider Elmer a troll.
Hey - no fair talking about me in a post I am not participating in.
I wouldn’t be too worried about signs. The signs will come. There were Powers signs all over NY-26, no matter where I went in all seven counties. Look at how that turned out.
I also remember Jack Davis having tons of signs up all over the district in 2006 and he lost. Don’t let the signs tell the story for you. More importantly, signs in people’s yards and not on public property mean something. Those are the signs to look for, not the ones on street corners and random roadsides.
As for the website, I know that Dollinger has sent out press releases and has had events since May 9. I have noticed that about the website too. It’s just about the campaign finding the time and having the energy to update the website. For some consolation, Robach’s campaign website is rather empty and vague.
I’m sorry Robert, that’s no consolation. The website should be top notch if winning the election is a goal. How long does it take to put up a press release? Should be updated daily.
Hey, I want him to win, too!
I meant troll in a good way, really…
Robert -
You wouldn’t be too worried? Really. On what data? We are not talking about a rookie candidate or a like Davis who didn’t meet voters in 2006. Rick Dollinger has run and held public office for a while - 10 years as State Senator. Joe Robach is immensely popular.
Lawn Signs and Websites are simply an indication. Now I know Rick is out pressing flesh at events most recently the Public Market this past Saturday. I’ve seen the Ads. There is activity,
However - The fact that the Dollinger campaign has sent out press releases since May 9th - and they can’t be found except on other web sites assuming those web sites CHOOSE to reprint them tells me that their story isn’t getting told or a narrative isn’t being kept. Ultimately is amounts to s series of one shot information wonders.
The Campaign finding time and energy? The question is how hungry are they? Dollinger is funded.
If this post serves to get Dollinger noticed a bit more then it served its purpose.
