Robach’s gay-friendly mailer
This is a bit strange coming from such a noted opponent of gay rights. Residents of the Park Avenue and University Avenue areas of Rochester (sort of the Chelsea of Monroe County) received this mailer. Something tells me residents of Greece didn’t receive it.
The message is clear with the rainbow umbrellas, the two men embracing in the front. Robach is saying: ignore my record, I got you guys an arty bus stop!
Give Robach credit: he leaves no stone unturned in his efforts to pander to his constituents.

Nope, didn’t get it in Greece. I wonder if the people in the photo know that he used their image for this.
Robach’s a pander bear
I doubt it. I can’t imagine too many are Robach supporters.
I wonder if the mayor and Councilman Pritchard know they’re on the photo.
Do they endorse Joe?
Which one is Pritchard?
That might be County Legislator Carrie Andrews in there too.
Pritchard is standing to Robach’s right.
Yes, that’s Andrews.
It seems that Joe is really, really…really enjoying himself.
Is his “special” aide there?
That’s not the one I got - damn, I was gonna vote for him based on it too…

If you catch the latest “Joe Club” Commercial, you’ll note the man who says “Joe Robach supports the UofR and RIT” is none other than RON HOUSE - the same guy who attacked Dollinger at his first public forum in the city - the same RON HOUSE who is the direct employee of Maggie Brooks, working for the county as the Monroe County Employee Diversity Training Manager.
What qualifies him to speak for the UofR and RIT? What qualifies him to become a spokesman for Robach? Are the rest of the “actors” in his commercials political hacks of the County Executive as well? Were they “paid” to make these ads and show up for these events, or was their employment held over their head?
How can a man like Ron House, formerly with Eastman Kodak possibly teach or train employees of the county, or represent the county in diversity and EEO Administration training, when he has so prominently shown his bias and lack of ethics in his outward influence in the campaign of Joey Robach?
I am really happy that Richard Dollinger is a smart and well informed attorney who no doubt will be doing a little “legal review” of the people and claims of these ads, with these people.
Let’s hope they have all their Ethics filings responses in place, i’s dotted, t’s crossed.
What a hokey bunch of desperate fools. The emperor is NOT wearing clothes. Joe Robach is a FRAUD. Maggie Brooks his perpetuator, and the judge of the State Ethics Review board their equalizer.
Bye Bye Ronnie House! You’ll have to go back to doing whatever it is that you did before you latched onto Maggie for your earnings. And you won’t find another job that allows you to love yourself as much as you do the one you have (soon to be had).
Hope it was worth it!
Geez Jiminy, tell me how you really feel!!! Excellent investigation and great work on greating that Robach ad. We should mail it and see what he does.
I think someone should alert the elected officials in the ad and let them know, if they don’t already. If they don’t demand a retraction or something, people should let them know that THEY will lose Democratic support.
This is all well and good, but if the best Dollinger can do is that lame TV ad, Joe Robot wins.
Dude, are you still hung up on facts making a difference?
o my God - why is “Importance” capitalized?
This probably isn’t the right blog to criticize the capitalization habits of others.
HA!
Our buddy Ron House is a very special Monroe County Employee, yesiree.
More ammo for the lawyers to look at. I suppose the Rev. Ron will be busy tomorrow, with church and all that to attend to…but we’ll check more into his “church” status and continue with the update.
Oops! Here he is again! Looks like he’s in lots of places a guy shouldn’t be:
Now when he gives those nice employee orientation speeches about how his first case in Monroe County involved a guy who said the “C” word to a woman, and he fired them both - I have to wonder…how many of those this nice Reverend has terminated were Democrats?
Does he check first to make sure his parties allegiance is protected FIRST? Then their religious affiliation? Then the merits of the case?
So…to all you peeps out there who may have lost their job because of the decision of this so-called “unbiased” professional, if you are registered Democrat - you’ve got yourself a lawsuit. Heck - in Mag’s admin - what’s one more?
Line forms to the right! No! to the left!
I think you’re looking at this thing all wrong.
It’s not about what it says, it’s about what it DOESN’T say.
He says he knows the importance but he doesn’t say he’s gonna do jack about it nor does he support any of it. Just that he knows how important it is to us.
Look closely - this is another piece of taxpayer funded campaign mail from Robach. Nice way to deal with a fiscal crisis.
And since gays can’t legally marry they are then unimportant to Joe?
Typical Joe Robach. Talks without saying anything.
This is so completely opposite of Robach’s anti-equal rights actions I wonder if this was truly a mailer or something constructed by someone else. I can’t see Robach standing before George Grace’s First Bible Baptist Church in Greece proclaiming, ” I support the importance of all to marry legally.”
If Jessie says it’s legit - then it’s legit! You can take that to the bank! (hint hint)
