In Case You Missed it…

Welcome to the, you can run but you cannot hide, edition of, In Case You Missed it. Eventually you or your record will be front and center and open for scrutiny

NY-29th Kuhl is hiding.

Randy Kuhl continues to duck debates. Check out this video and listen to him as he simply tries to run out the clock. Exile points to a sound byte where Randy says “worry about some political debate with somebody in some remote section of the district”. So, does this guy want to be a Congressman or my representative?

He uses the energy situation as an excuse, but if you check this post - maybe he doesn’t want to explain how drilling hasn’t contributed to the drop in oil prices.

NY-26th - So to is Jack Davis hiding

Then there is the NY-26th race featuring Crazy Jack Davis - who simply doesn’t want to debate - He comes across as overly arrogant, refuses to acknowledge one of his opponents by shaking his hand. Anyway, there was a debate and we filed this report with the help of a reader. Here is another example of Davis’ simplistic view of the world.

Meanwhile, Powers held a fundraiser in Rochester with Rep Clyburn

Sarah Palin - what is she hiding?

Well, this week we were moving from Sarah Who? to Sarah Palin?. Owner of extreme views and **gasp** in possession of a record that isn’t all that it seems. Remember this post is simple about the week just passed - so Sarah Palin was announced on Friday August 29th and over Labor day weekend and intot he RNC convention all of this information came out about Ms Palin. We had a mini Palin round up, More Palin, Palin on earmarks (she was for them before she was against them), and how did this post generate all these comments? Her speech at the convention got her base all excited even as conservative Pundits call the Palin nomination cynical and gimmicky.

The D&C editorial board - gets it right on questioning Ms Palin. There was also this LTE.

Above all, Airbare cautions us not to underestimate the storm that is called Sarah Palin - words to the wise.

SD-56 - Joe Robach is hiding or more accurately ducking

Apparently, Joe Robach was for unions before he was against them. A caution for all politicians. There was a second forum on education, but again Joe Robach didnt’ show. Maybe the third time? Nope. There was a third forum with government reform as the topic where “no show Joe” didn’t attend. Dollinger hit Robach hard on ducking the debates and proceeded to outline what is wrong with Albany and how it would be fixed.

Meanwhile Dollinger runs his first Ad as Robach tosses kids a bone while showing what his priorities truly are via the magic of earmarks. Meanwhile, we capture Rick Dollinger in what should be a campaign commercial.

The rest…

More corporate welfare. We remind our readers that a $6.6 million dollar expansion of a private health club got COMIDA tax breaks to create 24 jobs over 3 years so the Membership in this private health club can grow a projected 200 people.

An uplifting must read from a local Obama activist -

Is this pledge enforceable?

Paterson wins in Court - his executive order for same sex marriages benefits upheld

This round up is worth a reread and MPG becomes fashionable again.

Nachbar sends mailers.

950Am changed its format - time to tune into 1520Am.

The great McCain green screen debate is solved - yeah, we want these people running the country?

Maggie chides her opponents for not offering ideas for change and Brucefan calls her out on it. Um, I thought she had a “crack budget team”, but no matter maybe her opponents need to offer Maggie Brooks hearing aids instead.
