SD-55: Golisano’s “Responsible NY” Sends Nachbar Mailer
Just got this, a mailer supporting David Nachbar for State Senate. It’s big (8 1/2 x 11″), and it’s pretty:
The focus is all about “reforming Albany” and a “common-sense business approach” to NYS governance, sure to resonate with anyone who has been paying attention to what’s been going on.
Responsible NY shows what you can do when you have someone with serious bank behind an organization. In the past week, I’ve seen this mailer, a full-page ad for Responsible New York in the City Paper, and heard a long ad on Buffalo’s progressive talk station, 1520 AM. (Presumably we’d have been hearing the ad on our own, late progressive talk station (WROC 950), had Entrecom promoted it a little instead of setting it up to fail.)
I’m looking forward when we get full public financing of elections, so candidates don’t have to have deep pockets, or befriend those with deep pockets, to get elected. Until then, at least Responsible New York appears to have their priorities straight.

I got one today for Dollinger from Responsible NY.
