So what did y’all think about last night’s convention speeches

Are we unified yet? The bigger questions is was there ever a doubt? Comment away -

Meanwhile if you scroll past our convention coverage be sure to check out our posts on the Kuhl, Massa and Debates, City Newspapers’ view of the NY-26 primary as well as Chris Lee’s finances.

All good stuff.

What about AM WROC! Come on, let’s have some more outrage.
We need more political awareness and less bread and circus engineering.
I’m down for an organized protest. This is a significant public interest loss.

I don’t think so, but the media sure loved to run the story.

I was again very impressed with the speeches last night. Particularly with Kerry’s. If he had delivered a few like that four years ago, we’d be watching a convention to get him another term right now.

I thought the Mets coming from behind to beat Philadelphia and retake first place was pretty exciting.

Was there something else going on?

Maybe after the Bills and the Mets are done tonight I’ll check out some other channels.

We are unified. Hillary was the best. Nothing else has compared. I shed a tear, but just as Susan B. Anthony had to wait her turn until after the black male had become a citizen to become a citizen herself, a female president will have to wait.

  7. Lee says:

Citizen? You mean get the vote, right?

But your point is valid. She or another woman will have to wait to be the Presidential nominee of a major party.

If you don’t have the right to vote, then you are not a citizen as far as I can see. At least not a first class citizen. So, no I did not misspeak.

John McLame will try to trump that with consideration being given to eBay founder Meg Whitman for Veep…wonder how much he bid to get her to consider leaving the corporate world to jump immediately to Vice-President, and wonder how he possibly thinks America would buy into that ticket?

    Gotta love it.

I’m wondering what, in her resume, would qualify her for the role of second in command? This just reiterates their lack of connection with reality.
