Investigation into Independence Party payments by Davis?
We have discussed this before, a couple of times in fact, but now the Independence party has formally asked the Monroe County DA to look into payola charges. From the D&C today.
Blanca Colon was one of three members of the Monroe County Independence Party’s nominating committee to vote for Democratic congressional candidate Jack Davis back in May, but she never revealed that she was being paid by the Davis campaign, according to a party member.
The revelation is part of a deposition signed by Monroe County Independence Party member Steve Corryn, who on Monday requested an investigation by the district attorney’s office into payments Davis made to Colon, wife of former party chairman Rafael Colon.

District Attorney Mike Green said that he hasn’t reviewed any documents relating to Corryn’s charges but said once he did, if he believes they merit further investigation, he would refer the matter to a police agency with the appropriate jurisdiction for investigation.

Davis’s man Erick Mullen also paid Bob McCarthy $ 5,000 in June to exploit a overly biased opinion of Jon Powers through the primary.
–it shows in his articles where Davis spokesman Luke Vaughan is the main source of information on Powers.
Davis’s other sidekick Luke Vaughan also attempted to pay Buffalo blogger Luke Vaughan $ 3,000 for a negative opinion.
Davis’s then said the $ 5,000 IP payments were for names of big Democratic donors… yet Davis isn’t excepting donors money and the wife of the IP chairmen are not Democrats? A lie again by Davis.
