The Signs tell the story

Here are some pics from the Brighton Protest over the Costello development. We have written about it before a couple of times. Frankly the signs tell the story. The result of rezoning against the current master plan is basically exchanging green space for Sprawl. I have the check but I was told or read that the build across the street was empty. Yeah, that is what we need here is more empty buildings - where is all this “growth” coming from. There are 10 hotels within 2 miles of this location.

I mean is Rochester booming with the inflow of jobs and we somehow didn’t get the memo?

No, grow and office part here means stealing jobs from other parts of the county. It means playing a shell game with “blight” and moving it around.

An interview with Matt Lenoe is coming as well.

Which is your favorite pic?
