Wanted: New Clerk of the County Legislature

Well, David “Mike” Barry is no longer the County Legislature Clerk. I heard it from two separate people but could not find his resignation announcement posted in the typical media outlets.

Maybe tomorrow.

Anyone out there know what happened? Typical GOP excuse - spend time with his family?

Now our double dipping chart of Greece elected officials supporting the County will have to be revised even more.

I’ve seen him in action. He has an unnatural nervous hyperactivity that surrounds him. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s drug related. Not saying I have proof, but something is just wrong about him, and I’ve often thought it could be induced.

Are we channeling Bill Frist now who makes diagnosis from video tape?

I understand your observation about Hyperactivity. Not sure if I share it but for the moment Let’s say I do. There are many causes of hyperactivity. Who is to say it is unnatural?

I believe your comment (the drug accusation component) is unnecessary and unwarranted.

You can do better Jiminy. Disagree? Take it off line.

My conclusions were drawn after a conversation with a law enforcement official. Do better how? Follow him for the score?

Do better how?

Leave it out of the comments.

I’m not looking for a back and forth here.

I agree. That comment was a little bit of a cheap shot, Jiminy.

Stlo’s comparison with Bill First was spot on, I’m afraid.

Jiminy made a personal observation and allegedly had a conversation from law enforcement. I think stlo7 is confusing people who POST with people who COMMENT. I expect any POST to be concrete but in short Jiminy is entitled to his position, if you don’t like it, respond to his COMMENT, don’t tell him to take it offline. How many times have others, including writers of this blog, have made questionable statements in either their POSTS or COMMENTS? Kind of like a “cast the first stone” thing. Personally, I think it’s selective admonishment here.

Deep Sigh. Um, I did respond to Jiminy’s comment. I wanted to ensure that the blog comment section is fruitless back and forth.

Is there something else going on here Ghost? Hope not.

Jiminy, I have a lot of respect for you, but I agree that speculation of drug use should be kept offline.

My best guess is that they are preparing for next year and WANT to alter the double dipping chart. I also have to imagine that they have another job lined up for him, after all Barry’s family is in deep with the party. Maybe Reillich needs some help.
