Massa earns Republican endorsements
Rochesterturning had boots on the ground down in Corning at an event where Eric Massa earned additional endorsements of Major General General John Batiste (ret) and Sherman Moreland. We hope to have video up soon of the remarks.
In the meanwhile check out this quote from former Horseheads Republican Committee Chairman Sherman Moreland. Ouch

“I want a man, like Eric Massa, who has the qualities to improve this country - he’s a man of unique dignity,” said former Horseheads Republican Committee Chairman and Korean era veteran, Sherman Moreland. “These are matters very close to my Republican heart. Randy Kuhl has failed to maintain the dignity of his predecessor, Amo Houghton.”

It was, indded, another great press conference. Having bipartisan support for Eric’s campaign in the southern tier is vitally important. Gentlemen like Sherman Moreland and very well respected and their support carries a lot of weight.
It was especially gratifying to hear General Batiste’s comments when he boiled it all down to three words about Eric: “he gets it!”

Funny thing - Amo has endorsed Randy, so the guy who should know thinks Randy has maintained the dignity needed.
And Batiste must live in the Rochester part of the district because I don’t think he lives down here with us yocals.

Funny thing- Moreland endorsed Massa. Amo endorsed Kuhl? IS that like Schumer endorsing a Democrat? To be expected.
“with us yocals” your words not mine. What is the point. Does General Batiste not see what is wrong with the country much as you can see. I suppose one can see how those who have enabled this administration, this failed administration from anywhere - probably even space.
Nice that Batiste has endorsed Massa this time around. In 2006, Batiste wouldn’t actually endorse Massa, but he did come out against John R. Kuhl.

General Batiste who lives in Pittsford gave 3 reasons for endorsing Massa,Eric will be a great congressman,he understands defense and vets issues, and understands the economic problems the country faces.A long time Republican Sherman Moreland endorsed Massa because Kuhl did nothing about the shredding of the constitution,torture,or ending the war in Iraq.
