McCain flashback -

Barack Obama capped his European tour with an address to an audience whose numbers reached tens of thousands. But while the media will focus on Obama’s call to strengthen America’s trans-Atlantic alliance with France and Germany, no doubt absent from the coverage will be John McCain’s essential role in undermining it.

With all the coverage of Obama in Europe today - I was reminded of all the old Europe remarks of several years ago.  Well sure enought our friends at Crooks and Liars had a nifty little post (where the above quote is from) worthy of review.  Have fun.

As if there should be any doubt to the country and the world who are next president will be, I think people will look back and call this the “presidential” moment for Obama. Whatever McCain has been throwing out in the media space against Obama hasn’t been able to stick. If anything, it makes it clear the division between Obama and McCain — the new vs. the old way of doing things.
