I caught up with Jim Hightower at the Netroots nation convention. Ok - so he is not Obama Girl nor is he Al Gore which is fine because he is Jim Hightower - master of the populist message.
Jim is brawn behind the Hightower Lowdown - a concise 4 pager of populist common sense. Here is an example for Hightower dissecting 8 years of Bush/Cheney.
So I caught up with Jim and we talked about Texas Turning Blue (of interest to me when I lived in Texas and have fond memories of Ann Richards).
More importantly I asked him about getting the national Democratic Message and getting the message out locally.
