Giuliani spreads the love

Former presidential candidate and NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani will be establishing a fund-raising committee to help raise money for endangered Republicans in New York state. Giuliani, as you may remember, finished third in the only primary state that he really ever contested despite having a solid lead in the polls for most of the campaign. That kind of good fortune is much needed these days amongst the ranks of the NY GOP.

The New York Post says Giuliani is expected to announce his fund-raising committee as early as Monday. The same day, he’ll hold a small fund-raiser at the Grand Havana Room on Fifth Avenue for his political action committee, Solutions America.

Oh…let me see if my crystal ball is correct…

(moving hands around ball shaped like John Di’s head)…

I predict that Giuliani (who wants to be your next Governor) will enlist the help of none other than the recently prodemoted Stephen J. Minarik to be the head king pin of the GOP Endangered Species List.

He can’t go back to the National (they do have a reputation to hidekeep you know, given all of these FBI Investigations, and the fact that they would be bringing back to the fold what they have cast out of the mold.

So, after all is said and done, Steve and Bill’s Lightbulb Bill RielicK Excellent Adventure was nothing more than a way to circumvent Minarik back to the top of the toilet bowl, all the while trying to convince the residents and the others on the endangered species list that SHE is in fact and indeed in charge of this “party”.

I wonder what Jesse would say? I wonder what Steve WILL say? I wonder how RUDY will react when the public doesn’t buy into it? I wonder if RUDY will wear women’s clothing again? Back to the crystal ball…

Jiminy:

You never cease to amaze. If you could harness all of the mental energy you put into creating your bizarre and intricate political theories, you could solve the energy crisis.

Moreover, do I properly infer criticism of what Giuliani is proposing? Is this materially different than what Golisano is doing? Why does RT like one but criticise the other?

And Jiminy, you know, in the right light, my head does gleam like a crystal ball.

You’re right John - I’m a real powerhouse - I should change my name to Fritzy.

Ya know John…Golisano switched parties and registered REPUBLICAN. That means he’s technically one of YOURS.

So if you are implying that wealthy Republicans who want to give millions of their dollars away is something that “we” should be concerned about, I believe it is your party that should be concerned. After all, he is one of “you” and yet he’s choosing to donate to most of “us”…

So to answer your question, if Giuliani is going to do the same thing - bring it on baby, bring it on. Heck, he can dress up like a woman all he wants and pass out money like candy - if this is the “NEW” Republican, me likey :) Perhaps you could enlighten us if this is the dawning of the new republic that Lightbulb Bill Reilich was referring to. Hey Maggie! Over here! I’ll take some of what you’re dishing! Now Cheryl - you’ve had your fill, learn to share sweetheart. Running low? Don’t worry! Steve will make some more, or Rudy, or Tom. Just keep it coming!

As for your head John, that’s TOO much information…
…back to the crystal ball…
