DCCC response to lack of ad buys in Western New York
This just came in from Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in response to reports that no ads had been purchased for Western New York Congressional races:
Executive Director Brian Wolff’s Statement in Response to Questions on the DCCC’s Initial Media Buy
“Our initial media buy is the first act of a many act play. As we have been all cycle, the DCCC is focused, prepared, and organized. Watch what we do over the next four months and our aggressive strategy to expand the playing field and strengthen the Democratic Majority will become clear.”

The DCCC spent $58,500 in the 29th last cycle. That’s pretty close to lip service, since they spent millions on Tammy Duckworth, because that race was in Rahm Emmanuel’s (the DCCC chair in ‘06) back yard.
We have three worthy challengers in WNY. Unless you have more than $6,900 to donate, why spend it on the DCCC?
