DCCC to air ads against Kuhl on Iraq
From the Politico:
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is launching a new radio, web and robo call campaign targeting House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) and seven other Republicans for voting “present” on an Iraq War funding bill.
[....]
In addition to Boehner, the DCCC is targeting GOP Conference Chairman Adam Putnam (Fla.) and Reps. John Shadegg (Ariz.), Lincoln Diaz Balart (R-Fla.), Tom Feeney (R-Fla.), Randy Kuhl (R-N.Y.), Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) and Steve Chabot (R-Ohio).
Democrats are trying to politically punish Boehner and these seven Republicans, several of whom are considered vulnerable this November, for voting “present” last Thursday on a $163 billion war funding bill.
I’ll put an MP3 of the ad when one becomes available.
Update: Commenter BurbProgressive reports:
I personally received 3 robocalls yesterday.
- One from “Working Families Win” — an anti-Kuhl robocall. Is this the WFP or a different group entirely?
- One from Mr. Kuhl
- One from Maggie asking me to join one of her virtual town meetings… This was really a voicemail message saying “how disappointed she was that I wasn’t available to join her town meeting
As I’ve mentioned before, I’m on the side of Fairport village that is Louise’s district, so I’m not even sure why I get these robocalls. I assume that they just can’t differentiate because Fairport village is split in half. Does anyone else get these “mis-directed” robocalls?
