Just got this e-mail from Livingston County:

“Please join us for a screening of “Gunner Palace,” a documentary of the Iraq War, in support of Jon Powers, candidate for Congress (NY 26). Monday, May 19, 6 to 9 pm, concludes with Q&A with Jon Powers. Lakeville VFD Training Ground, 5939 Stonehill Rd., Lakeville, NY. Veterans especially encouraged, admission free. Non-veterans, a donation would be appreciated. Food and soft drinks included.”

I attended one of these screenings and it was informative and well worth the time.
