The head of the Democratic National Committee, Howard Dean, came to Rochester for a fundraiser on behalf of Eric Massa. He took the time to also attend the Monroe County Democratic Designating convention where he rocked the house.
Besides me, Ladkiddo and Grievous Angel were also in the house. We will offer our perspectives throughout the weekend.

What?? Dean was in Rochester for an Eric Massa fundraiser? Gee, according to Channel 8’s 11 PM news you might have thought he was here only to talk about Hillary vs. Obama and to refuse to answer questions.
Having attended both events with Howard Dean, I look forward to RT’s perspective. I certainly didn’t get any reporting from Channel 8 on what actually happened when Dean came to Rochester.

I caught it on R News and they spelled Jon Powers’ name wrong. They also focused on the national message and Dean’s refusal to answer questions.
I was there and it was so energizing.
Channel 8 news just over all stinks
Channel 13 has been my favorite local news since moving to Rochester 14 years ago. Evan Dawson particularly stands out right now as an excellent news person.
I have to admit that sometimes Channel 8 was a close second for me, but this one story (and I do mean story, and not reporting the facts) has totally turned me off. As I said in my letter to Channel 8…”You turned me off, so I’m turning you off.”
