What are you doing today?
Thanks for the great lead-in, Stlo. My two sons, and I will be taking my mother to Genesee Country Museum for the Mother’s day event there, where we get to meet up with historical human rights activists such as Susan B, Mary Jemison, and Soujorner Truth.
I also baked her a rhubarb upside down cake with the rhubarb from my garden.
Every Mother’s Day I’m reminded of my mother’s last words to me…
“Don’t son that gun is loaded!”
