Speak English - American Red Cross gives CPR lessons in Spanish
Et tu, American Red Cross?
Sorry, I just think this is funny. For all you folks out there who know people that are driven nuts by multilingual signs, imagine having your life saved by CPR from someone in this class.
The Red Cross of Rochester is extending its support of CPR and reaching out to a previously untapped audience. The Red Cross has offered CPR classes in English over the years. Now, for the first time, it’s catering to Spanish-only speakers.
“We have a very large population of Spanish monolingual in this county and it’s really a disservice that they were unable, up to this point, to learn these lifesaving skills for adults, for children, and for infants,†said Judith Quinones, Red Cross instructor. “So, it is much needed and I’m glad that we’re finally offering this to the Spanish speaking population of Rochester,”
I had to laugh and yes - I think this is OK .

Nice catch. This post made me laugh.
My pet peeve about the Red Cross? If you give somehow get on their call list for blood, they’ll call you EVERY day sometimes multiple times in a day. I asked that our household be put on their “no call ” list but they still kept at it
It’s hard to imagine how your comment could have been any less relevant to the above post. Maybe if you told us about how you once had an ex- with red hair, or that someone flipped the bird at you while passing in their red car.
I’m sorry you get annoying phone calls. Please consider donating blood anyway. The recpients of your generosity aren’t the ones calling you.
