Minarik is clueless?
Just caught this little snippet on that push poll we told you about earlier (from 13WHAM.com last night, bold mine):
“The county doesn’t do polling,” Brooks said. “So this doesn’t have anything to do with Monroe County.”
County Chairman Steve Minarik (R) said the county’s Republican party wasn’t paying for the poll. He said he doesn’t know who is behind it.
My head hurts. A push poll that is favorable to Brooks yet Minarik doesn’t know who is behind it? Define “know,” Mr. Minarik.

Obviously, he knows about this.
Those two “negative pregnant” answers told us only that neither the Monroe County government nor the County Republican Party paid for the push poll. That leaves several other options…Maggie’s own committee, Cheryl Dinolfo’s committee, perhaps the MC GOP Housekeeping Committee, or any number of other GOP political or even “non-political” sources of funds. Note too that he didn’t say he didn’t know about the poll, just who “was behind it” whatever that means.
Just look for payments to Wahl Media…that should be enough breadcrumbs to satisfy the cravings of more than a few people.
And don’t forget Impact Communications.
But here’s the link on Impact - lots of money being spent by the New York State Republican Campaign Committee in February and March for ads, but are there any ads playing anywhere right now?
