Anti-Robach Mailer: Robach hearts Long Island Schools not Monroe County’s
Got this from a reader in Greece. I didn’t get one and, yes, I live in`the district. I’m told, based on some anecdotal evidence gathering, that these mailers were targeting Greece. Did anyone get one? Anyway - here they are. I don’t know who sent them out.
You know how much I love Robach’s mailers. They generate such interesting conversation. Well, This anti-Robach mailer says Joe, fully aware and strangely silent about Maggie Brooks unFAIR plan, voted to give money to Long Island schools.
Apparently, it involved this piece of the resolution. Fiscal Stabilization Grants (Shoreham Wading River Central School District +$1.2 million)
So, education is important. A portion of a budget bill was diverted to Long Island schools specifically. Robach sends out his own mailer blaming the governor. There is lots of back and forth between a Senate Budget which was less than the Governor’s ask. Now like magic, they all agree.
The question is, what has Joe really done for his district in terms of school funding?
I got one.
I’ve got bitchin’ optics.
The logo in the lower right is AFL-CIO.
Some City residents also got them.
I got one, and I live in 14610, near East and Winton. I’m in the 56th, Robach’s distrtict.
So I guess the real question is WHY has Joe Robach been silent about “FAIR”? And why would Robach support the strangulation of taxpayers in his own back yard and caviar in school lunches in Long Island?
“Blowhard Joe, what do you know? Blowhard Joe, it’s time for you to go!”
Today I had a message on the voice mail as a followup to the above mailer.
The speaker sounded young, as her tone and delivery left me hanging for
“Like Republican Joe Robach is like sending money to like rich kids in like Long Island and stuff. WhatEver.”
I could be wrong but I thought she had the tiniest of L.I. accents.
HAHAHAHA! This keeps getting better. Transfer the recording to your computer and put it up here! I’d love to hear it!
Just use a tape recorder to tape the message as it plays on your machine. Then play the recording into your computer microphone and save the file.
