I know, I know. There's less chance of Glore running than for Hillary to run a clean campaign.

Oh, yes. But according to the NY Post, Giuliani has already signed up to be our next Governator.

Even trash has a place.

OK - I think we are agreeing. Maybe I'm a bit more subtle in my approach. We have two powerful candidates.

Frankly, I'm tired of the media driving the narrative. Either Clinton or Obama will be the Democratic nominee. The Democrats will line up behind either when the time comes. The Republicans will line up behind McSame. We will see how the Indy's break. I don[t think anyone really knows yet because...

McSame is like Giuliani the more you learn about him the more you find his stances revolting.

I was responding to your "White Knight" comment. We become so disenfranchised without two leading candidates that we like neither, and instead look for an alternative at this late stage of the game.

If this was soccer, we're playing with deflating balls.

Al Gore is not going to come in and run for President at this point. The fact that this is displayed plays into exactly what the GOP is hopeful for. Internal division, discontent amongst the Democrat, Independant and Blank voters.

Right now people SHOULD be working on camapaigns supporting their candidate of choice. And there is a choice. Two people. Two people who have invested alot, personally, financially, and professionally.

That's the part that bugs me - we play right into it. Step out of the doo-doo. Support the one you love. Don't look back.

One can dream I suppose and I count myself among those who would have held out in the primary season to consider Gore but this ship has left the station (see if anyone is paying attention).

For it to happen the democratic presidential candidate would have to be selected at the convention by party insiders. Sort of like we are facing now with the super delegate discussion.

Regardless of how good Gore was/is/will be seems like a selection of him would herald an undemocratic selection process.

The whole thing smack of a white knight to rescue us.

Oddly enough, I posted this over at my new D & C blog this morning:

As this Clinton/Obama drama drags on
some folks in the Party lament, "No more!"
But there are others who are starting to smile -
a deadlocked convention might turn to Al Gore.
