Maffei front-paged at Kos
Kos has a front page piece about Dan Maffei and how no Republican has jumped into the race in NY-25 (as we mentioned this morning). If you’re a Kos commenter, I think it’s important to get one point across to people in other parts of the country about Dan Maffei (as well as Eric Massa): they’re no Bush Dogs. While they have very different personal styles, both will be strong advocates for things like health care, redeployment out of Iraq, and the restoration of our civil liberties.
The fact that we have real progressive candidates contesting races in what were once Republican strongholds is something local progressives should be very excited about.
