More endorsements for Powers
These just keep rolling in. We had stopped reporting on these but with a possible primary looming, this definitely qualifies as news:
The Lancaster Town Democrats, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 86, and the International Union of Painters & Allied Trades have answered the call for a change in leadership in New York’s 26th Congressional District. Within the last week, Jon Powers gained the endorsements of the three organizations in his campaign to replace embattled representative Tom Reynolds, a career politician who has been running for office for 35 years. “I am honored to stand with these men and women. They understand that this area is yearning for new leadership and a representative who will fight for real solutions,” said Jon Powers, former captain in the U.S. Army, Iraq war veteran and Democratic candidate for Congress.
The Town of Lancaster Democratic Committee is the second town committee in Erie County to endorse Powers. The Erie County Democratic Committee is expected to make an endorsement in the near future.

Supposedly Davis did some telephone polling for the past 2 days and will use that data to decide if he’s staying in or dropping out.
(drop out Jack…)
In or out, the Davis campaign is dead in the water. It would appear though that the Kryzan campaign is still kicking. Anybody out there have the latest on her status?
She’s still in it, but I guess she’s get lukewarm receptions due to her role as an attorney for Hooker Chemical during the infamouse Love Canal days.
Sources are reporting that Reynolds is announcing his retirement today.
