No more cowbell
It looks like there won’t be a Republican primary in NY-25.
Randy Wolken, a Republican candidate for the 25th Congressional seat being vacated by Rep. James T. Walsh, R-Onondaga, is ending his campaign.
Wolken said he will endorse Peter Cappuccilli to be the Republican candidate.
The Republican party’s inability to find a top tier candidate (Cappuccilli is best known for heading up the State Fair) or raise much money this cycle means that Dan Maffei is a heavy favorite in this race, Republican primary or no.
