Kuhl is running again - no kidding

Yeah we know. You can read all the announcements. A quick scan was this comment by the Ontario GOP Chairman Jay Dutcher, on why Kuhl is well positioned to win a 3rd term. From the Messenger Post.

A number of factors will work in Kuhl’s favor, …. include the status of the war in Iraq and this year’s presidential election, which he said will encourage more people to come out and vote in November.

Much has changed in the past two years, added Dutcher, an attorney and Naval commander who served in Iraq in the summer of 2006. At that time, the war was perceived as going badly, he said. Though the war is still a serious issue, said Dutcher, “al Qaida has been rolled back,” and there is “significantly less violence in Iraq.”

Here at home “the rash of political corruption has moved off the table,”added Dutcher.

There is no drink like Kuhl-aid, There is no drink like Kuhl-aid…

So increased turnout, Al Qaida is rolled back, less violence in Iraq, and Political corruption is rolled back are the reasons Kuhl wins. Save for a moment that only increased turnout is true. That’s all you got?

Notice the lack of mention from the GOP that Kuhl is “better” than his opponent Eric Massa or that Kuhl Represents the 29th with whatever passes for “good” representation.

No mention of that.

We all should be looking forward to the Massa/Kuhl debates. There there a lot of them so the issues are clearly explained to the voters of the 29th. How many debates should we have?

When will the first debate happen?

Thank you for the laugh! Oh yes, the war is over! We won! Al Queda is gone! Randy saved us all! Hip Hip Hooray!

I can see Kuhl stand up and deliver that line. Or this one from Poltergeist:

“Welcome, welcome, welcome! I am addressing the living… All are welcome, all are welcome. Cross over children. There is peace and serenity in the light.”

Now for something completely different:

I can see those Randy Kuhl lawn signs already:

Have no fear, Underdog is here!

Randy with a cape, that’s all we need.

But seriously, Randy Kuhl announcing his re-election bid by playing the sympathy card by saying he is the underdog in this campaign. Oh, how the mightly have fallen….unfortunately, he didn’t fall out of the picture completely.

GO ERIC.
