The NY North Country Senate Race (48th) in a Nutshell

Exile reminded everyone that there’s a critically important race going on today, pitting dairy farmer/assemblyman Darrel Aubertine (D) against rich kid lawyer/assemblyman William Barclay (R).

The Albany Project has been all over this race like a freakin’ horde of locusts, so I’ll just provide you with some of their recent linky goodness to check out as we wait for the results to come in.

  • The SEIU is wisely backing away from Bruno, their old pal. Earlier in the campaign, they endorsed Barclay, but now they appear to be throwing cash at Aubertine’s field campaign.
  • Barclay’s sad, last-ditch attempt to prove in an ad that he’s not just a rich kid out of touch with the regular folks of the 48th.
  • Reports from canvassers working for the Aubertine campaign. And more.
  • A great pic from TAP:

Dead end
